This Privacy Policy describes how Position Growth LTD, a company registered in England and Wales ("Position Growth," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use the Yoke iOS application and related services (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
a) Account information
When you sign in with Apple, we receive a unique Apple-provided identifier and the name and email address you choose to share. If you use Apple's "Hide My Email" option, we only receive a relay address.
b) Photos and screenshots you upload
To analyze a dating profile or chat, you upload screenshots from your device. Images are sent securely to our cloud functions, processed by third-party AI providers (see section 3), and the result is returned to your device. We may temporarily cache the processed image for the duration of your scan; we do not retain raw uploaded images long-term and do not use them to train any AI model.
c) Onboarding answers and preferences
During onboarding we ask about your gender, age range, intent (e.g. marriage, dating with intention), dating apps you use, and how satisfied you are with your current matches. These answers are stored on your device and are used to personalize coaching recommendations.
d) Referral codes
If you enter or share a referral code, we record the code, the inviter, and the redeemer to award bonus scans and to prevent abuse.
e) Usage and diagnostic data
We collect anonymized analytics about how you use the Service (screens viewed, scans completed, features used) and diagnostic crash reports to improve the app. These do not include the content of your uploaded images.
f) Device and technical information
We collect device type, operating system version, app version, and similar technical information needed to deliver and debug the Service.
2. How we use information
- To authenticate you and provide access to your account.
- To process the screenshots you submit and return analysis, openers, and replies.
- To personalize coaching recommendations based on your onboarding answers.
- To operate the referral program and prevent abuse.
- To diagnose crashes, fix bugs, and improve product quality.
- To communicate with you about service updates, security, and your account.
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. Service providers
We share data with the following processors strictly to operate the Service:
- Apple — for Sign in with Apple, in-app purchases, and App Store delivery.
- Google Firebase / Google Cloud — authentication, Firestore database, Cloud Functions, Crashlytics, and Analytics. Data may be processed in the United States and the European Union.
- AI providers — your uploaded screenshots and prompt inputs are sent to third-party AI providers (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google) solely to generate the analysis or text you requested. These providers process the data on our behalf and, per their enterprise terms, do not use it to train their models.
- Superwall (if applicable) — to manage paywall display and subscription entitlement state.
4. Retention
We retain account information and scan results for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from within the app; doing so deletes your user record, scan history, referral state, and any cached uploads within thirty (30) days. Diagnostic and analytics logs may be retained in aggregated form for up to two (2) years.
5. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can exercise most of these rights directly in the app (Settings → Account). For other requests, contact us at privacy@yokeaiapp.com.
6. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards (TLS in transit, encrypted-at-rest cloud storage, per-user access controls) to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work continuously to improve our defenses.
7. Children
The Service is intended for users aged 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 17. If you believe a minor has used the Service, contact us and we will delete the account.
8. International transfers
Because our service providers operate globally, your information may be processed outside your country of residence, including in the United States. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and equivalent safeguards where required by law.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated inside the app or by email before they take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision.
